HISTORY/OVERVIEW
The Lancia Montecarlo code Tipo 137 is a sports car produced by Pininfarina for Lancia from 1975 to 1978 to 1981 in two distinct series. The second series stands out among the others for the glass on the uprights and an electronic ignition with a power of 120hp
EXTERNAL
The paintwork was recently restored and is in excellent condition, in the original red color and complete with its specific details. The underbody is preserved and in solid original condition from normal use, with its factory finishes. The car lived in southern Italy and the dry climate preserved the car very well. A feeler gauge test showed no signs of accidents.
INTERNAL
The interiors have been recently restored and are well preserved including the dashboard and the details of the buttons, the headliner and the door panels.
MECHANICS
Mechanically the car has the original engine and a technical inspection (inspection) has just been passed
in July 2024 valid until July 2026 with no defects detected. . It is functional and can be driven, however having driven a few kilometers in recent years a normal check is recommended before using it on the road.
It is increasingly rare to find these Beta Montecarlos in original, solid and well-restored bodywork conditions, they are an excellent investment over time or an opportunity for a transformation into a replica of a Lancia 037.
