BMW M5 E34 from 1989, manual gearbox, European version.

Delivered new in Germany, it was registered in Italy in 1990. The bodywork is original "Sebingr-grau metallic" and has just been given a complete exterior detailing treatment. Some parts have been repainted in the past and now display some traces of normal use. The rare rims are original and typical of the first M5.

The interior is fully original, never restored, beautiful with its original factory leather and shows minimal wear. Options: sunroof and air conditioning (to be serviced). The tool kit is present and complete (see photo).

Mechanically, the car has recently been reinstated after being out of use since 2010, with a complete cleaning of the fuel lines and injectors. The car now starts and is drivable, the clutch and gearbox are operational, however, a full check is required before taking the car on the road, the brakes need to be restored (not locked). A compression test of the engine gave excellent results (see photo).

The chassis is solid and original, it has never been restored, it has been treated in the past with an anti-corrosion product and is well preserved, no intervention is necessary to drive the car.

An electrical check is necessary for the lighting, the locks and the sunroof.

A thickness gauge test revealed no significant defects.

This BMW is an increasingly rare investment car: it is very difficult to find such original cars, without conversion, with the option of air conditioning, few kilometres on the odometer and good documentation.
