HISTORY/OVERVIEW
The Porsche 993 is a sports car produced by Porsche from 1994 to 1998 as the fourth generation of the Porsche 911, replacing the Porsche 964. It was the last 911 model to be sold with air-cooled engines and is a true icon among Porsche enthusiasts. It is rare to find examples with a 6-speed manual gearbox and Carrera 2 engine with two-wheel drive, the purest drive of the 993.
EXTERNAL
The external paintwork was redone a few years ago because it had become opaque, however it was not a job worthy of this car and today it has some imperfections and signs of normal use. It is very healthy and there is no trace of rust or accidents. The underbody is preserved in solid original condition and with its factory finish. A feeler gauge test showed no signs of accidents.
INTERNAL
The interiors are the original ones in real leather, well preserved including the dashboard and details, the hood opens and closes easily and all the electrical accessories work, including the light switch and cruise control and the electric windows.
MECHANICS
Mechanically the car has the original engine and had a service in 2023 including new spark plugs. It drives pleasantly and is ready to be used. The German technical inspection has expired.
TRANSPORT
the seller can take care of home transport in Italy and Europe. Contact for a personalized quote. the vehicle is located in Rome.
